The Role
As part of an established analytics function, you will be responsible for delivering quickfire results in a fast-moving project-based environment. Recent deliverables range from; investigating what the cannibalisation is in an area if a brand has recently opened a new retail store to building customer lifetime value models to understand how much shoppers are worth to an organisation over different timeframes.
This company holds training and development as a core value. Therefore you’ll have access to first-class training to improve your technical skills in SQL and Python whilst also having the opportunity to enhance your client presentation and project management skills through attending workshops with different internal departments.
The Successful Candidate Is Likely To Have:
- Performed well throughout academia, ideally in a numerate subject
- Experience working with retail or customer data in a commercial setting
- Confidence in deriving business insights from vast datasets
- A grounding in using statistical packages; preferably Python, R Programming or SPSS Modeller
- Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting recommendations to clients
