The growth of the digital implementation team stands central to strategic goals. Engineers play a pivotal role in furnishing clients with hands-on expertise to either introduce novel digital services or refine existing ones. The scope encompasses the entire spectrum of design and delivery. Leveraging the latest cloud and on-premises technologies, to configure and integrate diverse commercial, open-source, and bespoke products, alongside automating infrastructure and application provisioning.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to gather requirements and design tailored solutions
- Demonstrate proficiency in a programming language (e.g., Python)
- Uphold best practice coding standards with a focus on security
- Possess a basic understanding of cloud computing technologies like AWS or Azure
- Manage Windows Server and/or Unix-based operating systems
- Utilise version control software such as Git
- Exhibit strong communication and collaboration skills within a technical setting
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise:
- Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies (e.g., Agile, XP).
- Proficiency in building, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Basic familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) or configuration as code (CaC) tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of Agile team collaboration tools like Jira
- Familiarity with Git hosting platforms (e.g., Github, Gitlab)
- Deployment and configuration of application servers, web servers, and/or database servers on Linux and/or Microsoft environments
- Experience with SQL Databases (e.g., MySQL, Oracle, Microsoft SQL)
- Integration of application and/or infrastructure components with logging, monitoring, and alerting technologies
- API integration or development skills
- Understanding of secure microservice and containerized design, development, testing, and deployment
- Familiarity with enterprise identity and access management protocols (e.g., Kerberos, OAuth2, OpenID Connect)
- Knowledge of security best practices (OWASP, NCSC guidance, etc.)
- Understanding of modern data platform architectures, including containerization
Candidates must be eligible for, or have UK security clearance (SC).
