The Role
As a Senior Software Engineer specialising in AI and Agentic Systems, you’ll take ownership of designing, building and deploying production-ready AI applications within client environments. This is a hands-on engineering position combining full-stack development, cloud infrastructure and advanced AI architecture with direct engagement at senior stakeholder level.
You’ll translate ambiguous business problems into robust technical solutions, rapidly prototype ideas and take successful applications through to production. You’ll also shape engineering standards, influence architectural decisions and help clients understand the commercial implications of technical choices. The role offers scope to contribute to proposals, define reusable engineering patterns and influence how agentic AI solutions are delivered across engagements.
Key responsibilities:

Design and deliver end-to-end AI applications, from discovery and prototyping through production deployment.

Build full-stack applications using Python, TypeScript, React and modern development frameworks.

Develop agentic AI architectures incorporating LLMs, tool use and multi-agent orchestration.

Implement evaluation frameworks, monitoring and observability to improve reliability and model performance.

Architect secure, scalable cloud infrastructure and automated CI/CD pipelines.

Advise senior stakeholders on technical strategy, architecture, delivery risks and commercial trade-offs.

Requirements
- Senior-level software engineering or architecture experience, owning production systems end to end.
- Strong backend development skills in Python or TypeScript, alongside React and modern frontend frameworks.
- Hands-on experience delivering agentic AI systems, LLM applications and cloud-based solutions.
- Experience with AWS, Azure or GCP, Docker, Kubernetes and infrastructure as code.
- Strong communication skills and confidence engaging technical and executive stakeholders.
