What You’ll Be Doing:
- Lead the Charge: Architect and build cutting-edge full-stack applications using TypeScript, JavaScript, React, Node.js, and Express.
- Own It: Take features from spark-of-an-idea all the way through to live production—your code will make real-world impact.
- Team Up for Success: Collaborate across Design, Product, and Engineering to deliver seamless, user-focused experiences.
- Level It Up: Continuously optimise our frontend and backend infrastructure for scalability, speed, and maintainability.
- Shape the Stack: Play a key role in choosing the right tools, frameworks, and processes that drive our long-term engineering excellence.
- Raise the Bar: Take part in thoughtful code reviews, contribute to architectural decisions, and help us learn from every challenge through post-incident retrospectives.
Required Qualifications:
- Several years’ hands-on experience developing and supporting web-based software solutions
- Advanced knowledge of TypeScript and JavaScript, along with expertise in contemporary frontend libraries such as React, Vue, or comparable technologies.
- Proficient in backend development using Node.js and familiar with popular server-side frameworks like Express, Fastify, or alternatives.
- Deep understanding of designing APIs, managing application state, and optimising website performance.
- Experience with or enthusiasm for music production, especially digital audio creation, is a strong plus.
