This opportunity is with a leading, well known, international financial services group with coverage across Europe, Asia and the Americas. They are looking to develop their use of data and advanced analytics across the various business units to drive the business forward.
Sitting within their centralised strategy team is a new ‘start up’ unit which is bringing in data science and econometrics techniques and applying these to business questions, working with senior stakeholders in the organisation and with an international focus.
They are looking for a confident, problem solving focussed individual who can bring their strong econometrics and technical expertise to this varied, data driven team, offering actionable and strategic insights for use across the organisation.
The successful candidate will have:
– A good degree from a reputable university, preferably with a Masters or PhD alongside
– Strong econometrics experience, including modelling, either gained academically or commercially
– Data science experience working with either SQL, R, Python, SAP Hana, MATLAB
– A problem solving and creative mind set
