Based in Surrey our client is a privately owned technical consultancy specialising in the national security and defence sectors.
You’ll be tasked with leading on innovative projects within the defence and national security sectors. As a lead you won’t be directly line managing but you will be expected to mentor more junior colleagues, whilst taking the lead from a client delivery perspective.
This is a unique opportunity where you’ll have the chance to work on some truly impactful projects, helping keep the UK population safe, working with stakeholders such as the MOD and the Met to name a few.
As a non-exhaustive list of the projects you will be involved with:
- Developing novel signal and image processing applications
- Developing user interfaces in Java or HTML/Javascript
- Developing secure cross domain solutions
This role will be 100% office based due to the nature of the projects you will be working on.
Applicants must be eligible for Governmental Security Clearance.
he successful candidate will likely possess the following skills & experience :
- Be MSc educated or above in a STEM discipline
- Possess commercial experience as a software developer -3+ years
- Strong proficiency in at least one of the following – C, C++, Javascript or HTML
- Be a strong communicator
