My client is the strategy division of the one of the world’s leading professional services firm. They work across a variety of sectors and have a brand name that is globally recognised for delivering high quality strategy consulting. This opportunity is within their Financial Services team, they consult leading financial institutions including investment banks, retail banks, insurance firms and FinTech companies, typically across five core propositions – M&A, innovations, digital strategy, transformation and growth strategy.
As a Senior Consultant you will be core to the delivery of work but also to the management of the project and junior staff, some responsibilities are listed below;
– Conducting extensive and insightful analysis to support the business case for potential strategies
– Developing evidence based strategies that support the client’s needs
– Managing and mentoring junior members of staff
– Key client contact for the project, developing and maintaining the relationship with future business in mind
– Working closely with other internal teams to deliver a complete client offering
– Supporting practice and business development such as pitch meetings and recruitment

To be considered for the role you must have;
– 2:1 or equivalent degree from a top university
– Between 4-8 years’ experience working in FS strategy, either in consulting or in house
– A passion for finance and a strong interest in learning more
Desired skills:
– A post graduate qualification such as MBA, CFA or ACCA.
