The Company
A boutique healthcare organisation, working closely with patient data to derive insights to help improve healthcare across the UK. They specialise in working with hospitals and other healthcare organisations, to discover and understand the pressure points on their systems, as well as advising where improvements can be made.
Using advanced technology to do deep-dive analysis on large data sets, to enable their clients to make data-driven decisions, based on the detailed insight you will help to produce.
The Role
In this role, you will be working with cutting edge technology to make use of data, and derive life saving insights. Data sets primarily consist of patient-level data with which developing and running models, building dashboards on projects of real value.
As a senior member of the team, you are expected to support the team lead by taking on the responsibility of projects and ensuring the workload is managed and delivered on time. The analysts in this role will largely be working with SQL and Python, with excellent up-skilling and training opportunities offered.
You will also be working closely with clients to understand their requirements, and have a real say in how the projects are developed and shaped. This will require you to describe analytical information to those without a background in data.
Requirements
- A quantitative grounding, with a highly numerical degree (or equivalent), or a background in medicine
- Good experience working as an analyst in the healthcare industry
- Strong experience in Excel and SQL
- Strong preference for health economics experience
Desired Skills
- Python or R, though extensive training is offered
