Their cloud-based SaaS platform combines AI, real-time data insight and workflow automation to help underwriting teams improve speed, accuracy and portfolio performance. This is a fully remote role for someone based in the US.
The Role
As a Senior Software Engineer (Client-Facing) – Insurance Tech, you will work across software engineering, customer delivery and product implementation. You will partner closely with engineering, product, data and customer teams to design, build and deliver technical solutions that help insurers get real value from the platform. This role suits someone who enjoys production-quality coding, complex problem-solving and direct client interaction. You will take ownership across the full technical delivery cycle, from understanding requirements and shaping solutions through to building, testing, launching and improving them once live.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead technical delivery for client platform implementations.
- Build and debug production-quality software and integration features.
- Translate client requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Work across Python, JavaScript and SQL-based environments.
- Improve automation across delivery, workflows and internal tooling.
- Collaborate with product, data, engineering and customer-facing teams.
Requirements
Must-Have:
- Strong academic background in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- Experience in software engineering, systems engineering or a similar technical role.
- Strong coding ability, ideally using Python, JavaScript or SQL.
- Experience working directly with clients, customers or external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills across complex systems and processes.
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience in SaaS, insurance technology, fintech or data platforms.
- Exposure to integrations, cloud platforms or implementation engineering.
- Interest in AI, automation or data-led decisioning.
- Experience improving technical delivery processes or internal tooling.
