The Role
In this position you will be responsible for analysing, recommending and reporting on promotional decisions in line with the promotional strategy. The senior reporting analyst will lead the development of their toolkit of internal promotions reports and dashboards, with a focus on automation to improve the speed of decision making on promotions.
The promotional strategy team are required to understand promotional efficiency at a granular level and advise internal stakeholders on the optional promotional approach.
A key part of your role will be translating technical concepts to a range of audiences, through which you will be able to build strong relationships with key stakeholders to implement the promotions strategy and use your insight to define and deliver recommendations.
The Individual
- Experience as an analyst
- Strong commercial awareness
- Experience in presenting analytics driven output to wide ranging audiences
- The ability to communicate and influence at all levels
- Proven experience of data mining using SQL (Preferably BigQuery)
- Excellent Excel skills
- Numerate or technical degree (2:1 equivalent and above)
