Job Description:
My client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Governance Risk & Compliance Senior Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring that our operations adhere to regulatory standards and best practices. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the GRC function and contribute to the success of our growing organisation.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited too…
- Develop and implement GRC strategies, policies, and procedures in line with regulatory requirements and industry best practices
- Provide expert guidance on governance, risk, and compliance matters to internal stakeholders, including senior management and cross-functional teams
- Conduct risk assessments and identify potential areas of vulnerability, ensuring timely and effective mitigation measures are in place
- Monitor and analyse industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks to proactively adapt the firm’s GRC framework
- Lead and mentor a team of GRC professionals, fostering a culture of compliance and accountability within the organisation
- Establish strong relationships with regulatory bodies, industry associations, and other relevant stakeholders
Essential Skills
- Relevant professional qualification such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC
- Extensive Governance, Risk and Compliance experience, preferably gained within Financial Services or closely related and regulated industry
- Proven track record of developing and implementing effective GRC strategies in a complex business environment
- Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels of the organisation
