Senior Economist – Public Policy

The Role

Using your understanding of the global political economy, you will be working as part of a experienced and highly skilled team, to understand and explain the major socio-economic problems facing this generation. You will lead research and analyse the challenges facing economies across the world, and use it to understand the opportunities for prosperity.

This work with directly impact policy makers and leaders across the world as part of the research projects developed by this highly influential team.

The Individual

• A degree in Economics, Public Policy or similar.
• 2-5 years? experience in economics or public policy.
• Background of producing research to a high standard, ideally for stakeholders in policy or governance.
• An understanding and interest in the global political economy.
• An interest in socio-economics, and how data can be utilised to understand and inform our understanding of economic issues facing this generation.
• Experience and understanding of typical data analysis tools such as; Excel, SPSS, R, SQL and Econometric Analysis.
