The Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing data science team looking for fresh leadership. Working across a variety of sectors with key clients across the retail, travel, and finance space, to name a few. This is a role that will see you set the strategic roadmap for how data science products are sold throughout the business as you look to improve commercial performance across a range of key accounts.
You will be supported by a highly invested senior leadership team as you look to make your own mark within this internationally renowned consultancy. An example of recent projects delivered by various members of this team can be found below:
– An innovative project with a nation-wide supermarket to improve delivery performance utilising time-series techniques
– An anomaly detection project related to financial fraud for a large American bank
– A loyalty proposition campaign for an internationally renowned airline.
Please note due to the international nature of this organisation and client-base that some international travel will be required in this position.
The successful candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
– A STEM background or equivalent
– Strong commercial experience leading a data science team
– A strong understanding of statistics and machine learning frameworks
– Previous experience working within a consultancy is essential
– Experience upskilling and retaining high-end data science talent
– An ability to be a bridge between more technically minded individuals and c-suite.
