- Architectural Advancement: Evolve flexible data infrastructure leveraging modern technologies like lakes, clouds and pipelines.
- Cloud Optimisation: Engineer robust cloud architectures optimised for cost, performance and scalability.
- Data Excellence: Build, deliver and maintain superb data products embracing Agile practices.
- Collaboration: Partner seamlessly across teams including data scientists, analysts and business users.
- AI Innovation: Continually evaluate trends in AI and machine learning to implement cutting-edge data solutions.
Who you are:
- Education: Possess a degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or other relevant field.
- Experience: Have a proven 8+ years track record of successfully delivering cloud data lakes and pipelines.
- Project Management: Demonstrate ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
- Coding Prowess: Exhibit exceptional Python mastery plus proficiency in another language like Golang.
- Innovation Driver: Display strong skills in developing applications in Python and other languages.
- Cloud Proficiency: Knowledge of cloud data warehouses like BigQuery, and Snowflake and BI tools like Looker, Power BI, and Tableau.
- Data Governance: Participate in implementing data governance and quality standards.
- Architectural Insight: Hold a solid grasp of software architecture and design principles.
- SQL Mastery: Showcase advanced SQL skills and query performance tuning abilities.
- Tech Enthusiast: Leverage hands-on Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD experience where possible.
