The Company
A fast-growing start-up, revenue-based financing platform, with already over 100 heads despite only being two years old who have recently received their Series A funding.
Their Data Science and Analytics team is a core component of their business model and key contributor to their rapid growth and they are looking to bring multiple data analysts and data scientists on board.
The Role
This is a hybrid data analytics and data engineering role where you will be expected to collaborate with a range of stakeholders from the engineering team, to bring your ideas into production, to the underwriting team to gather feedback that will feedback into their systems.
Some of your tasks will include:
- Design and develop Tableau dashboards for the Finance Product team to use. Work with the team to understand their requirements, gather the data, clean the data, and build an end-to-end ELT data pipeline that automatically produces this data set daily
- Use these dashboards and data sets to give independent insights to the Finance Product team
- Build out a testing and validation framework for the data pipelines
Tools used will be Tableau and Python.
The Individual
- A strong quantitative degree from a reputable university
- Proven professional, commercial experience within data
- Python experience of transforming data and building data pipelines
- A keen interest to join a startup business
