The Role
This newly created position within the customer analytics team, is designed to support the organisation’s transition into a big data environment. Your role will be ad-hoc project led, where your focus is on statistical modelling including propensity modelling, which will be used to support CRM and wider business activity. You will then be tasked with leveraging that data to drive forwards their exciting personalisation agenda.
Once on the Cloudera Hadoop platform, your role would transition from using traditional technologies such as SAS over to R, allowing you to get involved with cutting edge techniques such as machine learning and random forests.
You will lead the production of a suite of predictive models to optimise the customer journey and improve KPI performance.
Essential skills for the role to include:
– Experience of using SAS or R for statistical modelling
– Experience within customer or marketing analytics
– Experience using SQL for data manipulation and report building
– Demonstrable analytical problem solving ability
– Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline
