The Role
This data science team are looking to personalise all user engagement across all channels and customer touch points in order to be connected to customers and push as much relevant content to them from a single source.
As a Data Engineer you must be able to productionalise a data science output or development, bringing to life data science products. You will be working with Data Scientists in the team who implement models built in R, and replicate them in a separate library using Scala or Python. You will also need to be able to facilitate real time insightful dashboards for analysts to be able to connect with other metrics systems such as a CRM platform in order for them to measure things such as campaign effectiveness.
The Candidate
– A data engineer with extensive knowledge of data science products
– Ability to improve performance, build feedback loops, build environments and frameworks
– Work on productionalisation in conjunction with data architects
– Spark or Scala coding experience
