The Role
By definition, this is a problem solving role. Acting as an internal analytics consultant your will work on a project basis to deliver major improvements to the organisation’s supply chain by improving operations, systems and processes.
You will present solutions to complex problems related to availability, stock and waste and convince the business as to why a particular change is necessary. You will be carrying out in-depth analysis and providing practical recommendations and you will have the drive to get ideas implemented.
The work is exceptionally high-profile and offers continuous exposure to senior directors within the organisation, combined with the opportunity to swiftly deliver significant benefits to the business. You will be expected to apply a scientific approach to retail problems, delivering solutions to improve the customer experience as part of a dedicated project team.
Essential skills for the role to include:
- A superb academic profile in a STEM subject degree.
- A minimum of one years’ work experience in an analytical environment.
- The ability to communicate complex ideas simply and clearly, both verbally and in writing.
- Strong business awareness.
- Interest in technology.
