SAS Consultant

They are experiencing major growth in their BI consultancy divisions in Edinburgh, Manchester and Leeds, these consultants focus on delivering end to end projects from data management, analytics to business intelligence to financial services clients. This represents an opportunity to grow and develop your BI skill set whilst working on high impact project with leading FS clients.

As a consultant you will be based on client site for the majority of projects, you will focus on the delivery of these projects across data management, business intelligence and analytics. Responsibilities will vary depending on the project, a recent project with a large UK bank saw the team develop and test a multifunctional SAS Macro to load, append and column compress tables in Teradata, another typical project might be customer analytics of data across a banks network this would involve sourcing data with different technologies (e.g. DB2, Oracle, SQL server, Teradata). Constant client liaison and contact is a key responsibility, all consultants should be comfortable explaining how their work will affect the client.

Candidates must have some of the following technical experience to be considered:

– Base SAS Enterprise Guide
– SAS Version 9.3
– Proficient SAS Developer
– Base Certified in SAS Version 9
– SAS programming experience
– SQL
– Teradata
