The Company
Our client is an independent, full service market research agency specialising in bespoke, high quality, quantitative and qualitative research. The company was founded in 1965 as the first specialist business-to-business market research agency in Britain.
Initially their work was almost exclusively for clients in the manufacturing sectors. Since the 1970s much of their work has been for clients in the public and business services sectors. In recent years they have moved into the field of consumer research.
Much of their work is based around evaluation of policies with a focus on social and public research.
The Role
Based in the heart of London, this role will require a hands-on approach. Depending on the level you come in at, this could include managing projects from end to end, being the main point of contact for a variety of clients and management of junior team members, thus you will have a wide range of responsibility from day one.
With a predominantly quantitative focus, you will be immersed in a range of bespoke, ad hoc studies with large amounts of data to analyse, providing insight and strategic recommendations to various clients. This could be anything from policy evaluation, conducting a nationwide study for an employer or a customer satisfaction study.
Requirements
The successful applicant will have:
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills
– Market research experience with a quantitative focus
– Exposure to either financial services or social research projects
– A strong academic background with a minimum 2.1 degree or equivalent
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office
– Ideally experience in SPSS
