The Role
This exciting role sits within the newly formed space and range team, who are responsible for ensuring the optimisation of store space and ensuring the best range of products are in place for customers.
You would operate as an internal consultant meaning significant stakeholder interaction, where you will work across ad-hoc and novel projects. This senior position would involve management of a small team of analysts and would support the wider business in developing and delivering strategy.
Day to day, your role will be utilising widely used tools such as SQL and Excel as well as cutting edge, big data tools such as Hadoop.
The Individual
They are flexible in regard to requirements, but are especially keen to consider anyone with the following:
- Strong educational background in a numerical or technical subject
- Experience working with large data sets
- Logical thinking and excellent problem-solving skills
- End-to-end project delivery and implementation experience
- Good data modelling experience using e.g. SQL
