You will be joining this project right at the very start, as we begin the discovery phase, so this is an excellent chance to help shape the direction and architecture of the build out. You will also be given autonomy to make key technical decisions, as well as help grow the team, as we are looking to hire several developers at varying levels of experience to
build out this new flagship team.
THE ROLE
As a Senior Engineer, the main focus of your role will be to develop a suite of new data warehousing tools to ensure this client complies with all data-related regulations within the banking industry. Your tasks will cover technical and advisory angles, from creating trusted data systems to providing a single source of truth to advising the bank on the best data architectural patterns to implement.
REQUIREMENTS
- Relevant academic background.
- Expert knowledge of Java.
- Capable of building robust CI/CD pipelines and ETL processes.
- An interest in the Investment Banking sector.
- Passionate communicative skills.
- Knowledge of Building APIs.
DESIRED
- Experience using Kubernetes/Docker.
- Knowledge of Kotlin (JVM).
- Prior experience in a client-facing position.
