The Role:
This ambitious organisation is looking to appoint a first class analyst to join the business planning analytics team, who are responsible for maintaining much of the day-to-day operational efficiencies.
You could be analysing everything from the routing efficiency of their delivery vans, to the optimum method re-costs and benefits of placing staff on fixed rosters.
You will play a key role in reviewing current business planning processes, analysing large data-sets to identify trends, developing and implementing new processes to improve efficiency, and then analyse the impact of these changes on business operations.
SQL, Excel and Tableau will be used daily in this position and there is scope to use other programmes too, such as Python, and training in any of these tools will be provided as required.
Essential Skills:
- Educated to degree level, having gained at least a 2:1 or equivalent in a mathematical or science based subject.
- Excellent problem solving ability.
- Strong commercial acumen.
- Ability to apply analytical insight to real world business problems.
