The Role
As a lead health economist, you will be responsible for leading projects and delivering tailored solutions for numerous clients operating in the Life Science sector. Although you will be managing a small team initially, this organisation has ambitious plans to grow the function and want this hire to be the driving force behind the strategy and recruitment.
When delivering hands-on work, expect to be using statistical analysis and economic modelling as part of your day to day role. You must have the capabilities to build patient-level simulations and semi-Markov models in either R or STATA.
The successful candidate is likely to have:
- A stellar academic record, preferably with an MSc or PhD in health economics
- Strong knowledge of Excel and VBA, programming skills in R would be beneficial
- Proven health economics experience, delivering successful projects to a range of clients
- Line management or project management experience
