Founded in 2013 and based in Central London, this unique company has enjoyed incredible success with over one million registered users and rising. Due to their continued expansion, the organisation is seeking to enhance their Data Science function by adding a Lead Data Scientist to take ownership of conversion optimisation.
The Role:
Managing one Data Scientist, you will be responsible for overseeing new projects and implementing best strategy within the Data Science Department to meet the growth requirements of the entire company. This will include algorithmic optimisation to increase customer conversion and implement innovative Data Science practices to best utilise the companies vast data sets.
About You:
– A highly capable Data Scientist with a profound understanding of probability theory
– An inventive individual with the confidence to introduce new ideas into the analytics department
– Exceptional communication skills to liaise with internal stakeholders
Requirements:
– Knowledge of machine learning and Bayesian techniques
– Over two years’ experience as a Data Scientist in a commercial environment
– A capable programmer in Python or R
– An advanced user of SQL
– A high numerical degree from a top university
Desired Skills:
– 3+ years’ experience in a Data Science position.
– An MSc or PhD in a relevant subject.
– Line management experience.
