This newly created position in a constantly expanding team, will act as the lead analyst on key strategic projects through provision of an analytics-based solution. You will work with key stakeholders across the business to define and obtain buy-in for change, agree solutions and then ensure they are delivered to time and budget.
Software used within the role will include R, Hadoop and Spark to work on predictive modelling projects to understand how customer behaviour can be influenced. Cutting edge techniques such as natural language processing to deal with unstructured data, will also be utilised.

The right candidate will have:
– An excellent academic background in Maths and or Stats, plus an MSc or PhD
– Strong technical skills in a range of technologies – R, Python, SAS, Hadoop, Spark
– Understanding of web-cloud based analytics environments
– An understanding of customer needs and commercial drivers
