They have undertaken a sustained period of growth and now this global organisation is now looking to add a junior data engineer to work as part of a large high caliber and agile data engineering function.
The Role
You will be utilising advanced Python, SQL, cloud based technologies and big data tools to create cutting-edge data features to drive business performance. This isn’t just maintaining the status-quo, this work will see you have a real impact as the team and business grow out looking to become the world’s favourite online sport’s betting company.
With the business having trebled in size over the last 5 years there is plenty of potential for progression, whilst learning from a high calibre team of 12 individuals which will see you exposed to some of the brightest minds in the industry.
The successful candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
- Python or PySpark
- ETL or building pipelines
- Ability to manage stakeholder requirements of varying seniority
- A good academic track record
The successful candidate will likely possess the following skills and experience:
- Exposure to Cloud based technology, particularly Azure
- Be a keen problem solver
- Possess an interest in sports betting
