Our client is a rapidly growing, independent consultancy that provide both business and technical solutions to top-tier and boutique investment clients.
You Will Be Responsible For:
- Managing the successful delivery of all software and development projects to the global client base.
- Creating and managing all governance artefacts, RAID log, change requests, project plans, Exec SteerCo packs etc.
- Coordinating with cross-discipline team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
- Meeting with project team members to identify and resolve issues.
- Submitting project deliverables and ensuring that they adhere to quality standards.
- Establishing effective project communication plans and ensuring their execution.
- Owning and safeguarding the project budget by actively managing project scope.
- Coordinating and chairing client meetings to report on project progress.
- Providing timely and accurate project RAG status reporting to the internal PMO function.
- An accomplished IT Project Manager
- Extensive experience of managing the delivery of bespoke software implementations to external clients within the Financial Services sector, experience of private capital markets is desirable.
- Experienced at negotiating successful outcomes utilising first class communication and influencing skills
- Proven track record of managing Exec level stakeholders and the ability to interact with both business and technical teams at all seniority levels
- Excellent time management and organisational skills, with an ability to multi-task/balance multiple parallel work streams independently
- Exceptional attention to details, with the ability to see the big picture and think strategically
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to travel – including abroad. Values the benefits of working on client sites and from their London office when required.
