Responsibilities:
As head of data, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire data function, including data analytics, data engineering, and data science. You’ll be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive data strategy that aligns with our business objectives and driving data initiatives that deliver actionable insights and create business value.

- Partner with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and ensure that data initiatives are aligned with business goals
- Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of our data infrastructure, ensuring data is accurate, reliable, and easily accessible
- Develop and implement best practices for data quality, data security, and data privacy
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data analytics, data engineering, and data science, and ensure that our data function remains cutting-edge and innovative
- Manage hiring, budget control, and leadership of the data function
Requirements:
- An impressive academic record, ideally in a STEM or computer science discipline
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in data analytics, data engineering, or data science, with at least 5 years of experience in a leadership role
- Strong experience in developing and implementing data strategies that align with business objectives
- Expertise in data analytics, data engineering, and data science, and experience overseeing all three functions
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to build and manage a high-performing team
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to partner with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and align data initiatives with business goals
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience in budget control and managing hiring
