This rapidly expanding yet established food lifecycle management organisation are looking for a mid-level full-stack developer, to lead initiatives in modernising backend architecture and transitioning to a microservices model. This role requires expertise in cloud-native development, strong backend skills in C#, and the ability to contribute to frontend development with frameworks like Vue.js.
This is a permanent, full-time position. This role offers fully remote working, with quarterly meet-ups.
Responsibilites
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of microservices and macro services for a multi-tenanted architecture.
- Collaborate with the team to transition the application to a cloud-native environment.
- Work across the stack, from database design to frontend development.
- Mentor junior developers, promoting best practices and architectural standards.
- Integrate with and optimise cloud platforms for scalability and performance.
Essentials Skills & Experience
- Expertise in backend development using C#/.NeT.
- Experience building cloud-native microservices (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Azure, or AWS).
- Proficiency in modern frontend frameworks, particularly Vue.js.
- Strong knowledge of multi-tenancy principles and practices.
- Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Ability to lead and mentor a development team.
