Role:
Whether working independently or as part of a highly skilled team of architects, you will engage in a variety of consultancy assignments, encompassing the following:
• Generating valuable outcomes that contribute to the achievement of the client’s objectives in significant business transformation programs.
• Conducting hands-on analysis, actively collaborating with clients, users, and team members to address potential issues proactively, preventing them from becoming obstacles.
• Developing and evaluating strategies and target architectures that facilitate the future delivery of ICT services, aligning with the client’s business requirements and in accordance with governmental ICT and other relevant strategies.
• Providing extensive support and strategic input to delivery teams, including those involved in Agile software delivery.
• Formulating and assessing baseline and transition architectures to support the client’s migration planning for ICT services within business change initiatives.
• Crafting architecture views that comprehensively depict all facets of the client’s organisation, spanning its business, applications, data, and infrastructure domains.
• Offering expert enterprise architecture (EA) guidance to clients, fostering the maturation of their architecture governance and the development of best practices.
What You’ll Need…
Our primary focus is on serving the UK defence and public sectors, and therefore, having prior experience within these sectors, particularly in the realm of enterprise solutions within the ICT context, is highly desirable. Given the dynamic nature of the ICT landscape and the frequent need to handle various ad-hoc assignments, our consultants must possess attributes such as quick thinking, a proactive attitude, self-motivation, and the capability to apply a structured approach even when dealing with unfamiliar subject matters.
Some attributes that would make you a top candidate:
- Enterprise and technical architect development experience.
- A good understanding of Government digital service approaches
- Able to think on your feet and utilise your experience and knowledge to assist clients in digital migrations
- Flexible with client site travelling.
