Our client is a pioneering and award-winning ecommerce retailer.
Our client is looking to drastically expand their Online Merchandising team as the organisation looks to expand across new verticals.
As Web Trading Manager you will be fully responsible for the decision making with regards to how best to merchandise products online, spanning a number of bespoke websites. You will ultimately be expected to drive conversion rates by ensuring customers are able to easily navigate to your products on the site.
In this highly collaborative position you will communicate across multiple functions to organise promotional events and plan on site content.
Additionally, you will be responsible for the line management of two Merchandising Assistants.
Essential skills for the role include:
– Previous retail experience (strong preference for online)
– Knowledge of Google Analytics or similar tools
– Excellent communication skills, ability to effectively communicate across departments
– Customer centric mind-set
– Knowledge of merchandising from a strategic perspective
Desirable skills for the role include:
– Previous line management experience
