We have been exclusively engaged to bring in a new director of transformation for a Fortune client in the manufacturing space.
The Role
The director of digital transformation will be responsible for developing and executing the digital transformation strategy across the organization. This role requires a strategic leader with a deep understanding of digital technologies, change management, and business processes. The successful candidate will drive the adoption of digital solutions, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive digital transformation strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Lead cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize digital initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, customer experience, and business growth.
- Collaborate with senior leadership (CIO, CFO) to define and communicate the vision for digital transformation.
- Oversee the implementation of digital projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Identify and assess emerging technologies and trends, recommending their adoption where beneficial.
The successful candidate will likely possess the following skills & experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, information technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- Proven track record of successfully leading digital transformation initiatives.
- Strong understanding of emerging technologies, including cloud computing, AI, machine learning, data analytics, and IoT.
- Be a excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
