A tech for good that is partnered with the likes of British Airways and Uber, having witnessed fantastic growth are now looking to bring in a director of data to head up their ever growing data function.
With VC backing behind them this is a fantastic time to take on this role and really put a personal stamp on this fata team.
The Role
This is a newly created role which will see you lead a team of high-performing analysts, data scientists and dData engineers whilst reporting into the CTO, meaning you will be responsible for the visibility of data across this 500 person business.
A key focus for this individual will be the introduction of GEN AI capabilities as the organisation looks to continuing providing a world-class service offering across the Healthcare space. The successful individual will also likely possess a strong data product mindset as the business looks to continue on their pathway to projected Unicorn status.
Here’s a few key requirements:
– You’ll be comfortable working across verticals- namely product & technology to deliver a data strategy for the business
– Be comfortable spearheading new R&D initiatives including the introduction of LLM’s (to be clear this is a purely strategic role, not a player – coach type)
– You’ll be accustomed to developing junior colleagues and growing a team (there are great plans to scale)
– You’ll have experience working with clinical/healthcare data and understanding of relevant data governance procedures
To be successful in securing this fantastic opportunity you’ll likely possess :
– Proven experience leading a data team (ideally 10+ individuals)
– A practical understanding of Implementing ML + AI methodologies
– Have a passion for healthcare
– Be comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders & VC’s
– Experience in the healthcare industry or with healthcare data sets would be hugely beneficial
