An innovative and expanding E-Commerce business are looking to make the most of a recent surge in investment from their parent company and after bringing in a E-commerce Trading Manager earlier this year are now looking to add a Digital Project Manager as their digital transformation gathers pace.
The Role:
You will be responsible for managing leading digital project management initiatives and overseeing the clients IT infrastructure which is going through a transformation as the business looks to improve commercial performance across both the UK and US markets they operate in.
This is a newly created role and will see you line manage the IT team in place whilst designing and overseeing the simultaneous successful execution of ongoing projects and taking responsibility for developing and mentoring the team already in place.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Analyse requirements for change and develop a request management workflow to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Project manage the design, development, delivery and maintenance of core business systems, including CRM, CMS, marketing solutions and bespoke software platforms.
- Work with our IT and telephony provider to oversee the management the company’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, bespoke software and hardware components. Ensuring the continuous availability, performance and security of business systems.
- Work alongside the Business Development director to develop and execute a business systems and IT strategy and budget that is aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.
The successful candidate will likely possess the following skills and experience:
– Proven 2 years + experience in IT management and/or project management roles required
– PMP, PRINCE2, PRINCE2 Agile or other relevant project management certifications preferred.
– Awareness of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, data security, GDPR and industry best practices.
