The Role
This position reports into the Head of BI, who would be looking for you to optimise the website to increase conversion, run and own ab tests to understand the customer behaviour on the website. You will have scope to decide what tools to be using and a big selling point is that the company are willing to upskill with Python and R as the role develops into a heavier data science focused role. Likely future projects will relate to campaign personalisation to increase engagement and predictive modelling around customer churn prediction.
You will have exceptional opportunities to gain wide business exposure, with a very flat hierarchy in place; you can reach out directly to the CEO with queries and ideas. This is a growing brand where you have the capacity to own the product analytics function moving forwards.
Successful candidates are likely to have:
– Strong experience in SQL coding and data querying
– Advanced proficiency in Google Analytics
– A well established understanding of a variety of data models and the ability to make these scale-able for business application
– Good communication skills in order to explain analytics to less technical team members
Desired skills:
– Professional experience in Data Modelling, Behavioural Analysis and Data Processing
– Ability to build bespoke reporting tools to show web performance KPIs
– Web Analytics focus ideal but not essential
– Experience working alongside Developers
