A global manufacturing company specialising in the production of high end equipment for the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors. They are a hugely ambitious company with impressive growth plans, currently experiencing double digit growth quarter on quarter.
Their data analytics arm to the business creates platforms that enable clients to manage their data properly and provide deep, data driven insights. There has been and will continue to be huge amount of investment in data and technology and with biotech being a booming industry, this is a exciting company to work for.
The Role
As a Data Scientist, roughly half of your time would be spent working on client site across Europe and half would be spent working from home.
You would be involved in a wide range of projects, in which you will analyse customer specific processes and solve business related problems using advanced data analysis and data driven technologies, including machine learning and statistical modelling techniques. Acting as a consultant, you would also be required to play a role in the pre-sales and post-sales processes.
Primary tools used are SQL, Python and Hadoop.

- Technical skills including; SQL, Python and Hadoop (or equivalent).
- Strong team player mentality.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills.
- Sector background in pharma, biotech, FMCG or another manufacturing field.
