A boutique Consultancy rapidly expanding across Europe with offices across Europe is looking to add a Data architect on a short-term basis with the possibility to extend depending on project requirements.

The Role
Reporting into a visionary head of AI, this position will see you working on a flagship project currently underway for a major client alongside a small but highly capable team of Data Engineers & Data consultants.
You will be expected to leverage your advanced proficiency in Data Access to develop and maintain data architecture principles, Data & AI processes, Data Taxonomy, and data & AI strategy. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that data access solutions are aligned with business requirements and adhere to industry best practices.
- Design and implement Data access solutions for the organization
- Develop and maintain Data architecture principles, data & AI processes, data taxonomy, and Data & AI strategy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that Data access solutions are aligned with business requirements and adhere to industry best practices.
- Provide expert technical guidance and support to project teams throughout the implementation life-cycle.
The successful applicant will possess the following skills & experience :
- Ability to think strategically and relate architectural decisions and recommendations to business needs and client culture.
- Proficiency in the design and implementation of modern data architectures and concepts such as cloud services (AWS), real-time data distribution (Kafka, Dataflow), and modern data warehouse tools (Snowflake, Databricks).
- Expertise in effective data modelling to achieve a common vocabulary and data governance.
