The Role
As a data and machine learning developer, you’ll be responsible for delivering end to end solutions for senior stakeholders across the wider business, which will inform the organisation’s data strategy. The main priority for the short term is investing in the data infrastructure before moving into building advanced machine learning solutions and deploying models in a scalable way.
Upcoming projects include building recommendation engines to personalise searches based on historic job applications. Whilst also building tools in Python that create job matches based on keywords appearing on both CVS and job specifications.
The Successful Candidate Is Likely To Have
- Graduated from a STEM-based subject, an MSc or PhD looked upon favourably
- Fluency in Python and SQL, exposure to cloud-based technologies is beneficial
- Demonstrable experience within the data science space
- Confidence in deploying machine learning solutions
- Excellent project management capabilities, leading tasks end-to-end
