Data Analyst – Consultant

This role is within the data services team, this team provides data and technical support to all of the business divisions, meaning you have exposure to many different parts of the business. The team have two primary functions; firstly to provide and build databases this includes sourcing, processing and manipulating data into GIS based models, secondly to provide technical support and consultation internally to other teams. The fundamental responsibility and skill required for this position is problem solving.

Essential Skills:

– A successful candidate will have a degree in Mathematics or other numerate subjects.
– Experience of working data or databases, ideally manipulating or processing data.
– A strong interest and ability in solving problems.
– Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.

Desired Skills:

– Experience programming in SAS andor C#.
– Knowledge and experience of GIS software.
