The Role
Given most of this business software is open source you will have a fairly unique opening to create some very impactful work that will be recognised by peers across the industry. The business is currently ISO 27001 certified and on the pathway to further certification and recognition.
You’ll be tasked with supporting on a wide range of areas from employer IT, through to data protection and information security.
what you’ll be doing :
- Championing security utilising best practice to upskill within the business
- Promoting security by design working closely with the engineering team to introduce new product features
- Monitoring alerts
The successful candidate will likely possess the following skills and experience:
- Proven experience of working within cybersecurity and engineering teams
- Commercial experience utilising AWS
- A STEM or equivalent academic background
- Great communication skills – there will be a good degree of stakeholder management involved here
