This means that you’ll be working alongside and learning from some of the best talent in the industry.
The role itself is within their flagship data team. With unparalleled in-house training from some of the strongest data professionals in the industry. From day one you’ll be provided with training in some of the most recognised tools and technologies in the industry including SQL, Tableau, PowerBI, GCP, Python and more. Their data function is extremely wide ranging with opportunities across supplier insights, forecasting and supply chain analytics, promotions analytics, data engineering, data science and more. Therefore you’ll be able to go in and become an expert within a particular area while also having plenty of scope to make sideward moves into other specialisms of interest if you so choose to.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll working within the heart of the business, offering data driven insights on their daily challenges. You’ll be made to think outside the box and be mentally stimulated every day to derive valuable recommendations from your analysis to enable critical decision making and ultimately directly helping to shape the future of the organisation’s customer offering.
From the offset, you’ll have the opportunity to get your hands on some of the most recognised tools including SQL, Tableau, Python and BigQuery, with significant upskilling available across all of these.
What’s Required?
- Educated to at least degree level with exceptional results in a quantitative subject
- Experienced commercial analyst
- High level of proficiency in Excel including
- Logical thinkers who are able to easily spot patterns and derive insights from these
- Outgoing communicators with the ability to articulate results to both technical and non-technical audiences
What’s Desired?
- Experience in customer analytics, retail or Ecommerce
- Experience with either SQL, Python or R used in any capacity but ideally in a commercial setting
- Experience reporting to a variety of stakeholders
- A degree in one of the following subjects (Maths, Economics, MORSE, Statistics, computer science)
