The Role:
Your core focus will be to play a vital role in safeguarding the financial stability of your organisation and its clients. By leveraging your expertise in data analysis and risk management, you will assess the creditworthiness of borrowers and identify potential risks, thereby enabling informed lending decisions and mitigating losses.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited too…
- Developing credit risk mitigation strategies: This may involve setting limits on loan amounts, requiring collateral, or charging higher interest rates for borrowers with higher risk profiles.

Collaboration and cross-functional support: Teaming up with other departments to understand customer needs, resolve issues, and make sure that credit decisions are in line with the company’s goals.
- Analysing the creditworthiness of borrowers using a variety of financial data and analytical tools: involves collecting and reviewing financial data from borrowers, such as financial statements, credit reports, and tax returns.
- Staying up-to-date on the latest credit risk trends and regulations.
The Individual:
- Demonstrated commercial experience using SAS or SQL
- Prior experience working in a risk or credit function
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a focus on Excel
- Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a large team
