The Role
This role sits within the Grocery Insight team, which is responsible for extracting existing data from retail reports to make commercial recommendations around promotions, loyalty schemes and product ranges to understand customer buying behaviour and drive sales and revenue.
This is not a position in which you will be coding directly but your role is all about verbally communicating the insight that you digest from the analytics team, explaining in layman’s terms what it means for the buying team. As a Category Insight Analyst you will use your excellent analytical mindset and strong commercial knowledge, to act as the go-between with the analysts and the buying team, enabling the business to be more effective with shorter term decision making.
About You

– Analytics experience preferably in retail or FMCG organisation
– A strong numerical degree from a reputable university
– Advanced user of Microsoft Excel
