About Us:
We are seeking a highly motivated Business Intelligence Engineer to join our team. If you’re passionate about delivering analytical insights and making a significant impact, this role is for you.
As a Business Intelligence Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Launching and monitoring programs, tracking performance metrics, and reporting on key objectives that impact deliverables and leadership teams.
- Collaborating directly with key stakeholders, including CX and Finance, to drive idealisation and completion of projects.
- Transforming simple analyses into comprehensive programs by designing mechanisms to reduce bottlenecks, enhance communication, and identify risks.
- Close collaboration with business and finance teams to scope, design, and validate initiatives that align with objectives.
- Engaging cross-functionally to self-guide and innovate, resolving issues that could impact goals.
- Identifying project dependencies and roadblocks, and proposing effective mitigation plans.
- Leveraging analytical and statistical rigour to solve complex problems and drive critical business decisions.
- Developing dashboards and automating existing processes to enhance workflow efficiency.
Basic Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- 2+ years of relevant experience in business intelligence and data analysis.
- Full-stack capabilities.
- Proficiency in programming for data extraction, transformation, and cleaning (e.g., Python).
- Strong grasp of statistical analysis.
- Scripting skills for automation, including proficiency in SQL.
- Experience translating between data and business needs in direct collaboration with stakeholders.
- Proficiency in data visualisation using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Quicksight, or similar.
Preferred Qualifications:
Additionally, the following qualifications are a plus:
- Experience with data modelling, data warehousing, and building ETL pipelines.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis packages such as Python, R, SAS, or Matlab.
