Boutique Strategy Consultant – Financial Services

This company is a relatively new player in the Financial Services Strategy space, having set up their London office in 2009. Alongside other locations in Paris and Luxembourg, this organisation works with some of the top Financial Institutions (Retail Banks/Investment Banks/Financial Sponsors) to solve complex problems, all with a strong strategy focus. Recently joined by a Partner with extensive experience in the consultancy and banking space at MD level, this company are going from strength to strength and looking to grow the team in the central London office considerably over the next few years, due to rising demand and onboarding of new Tier 1 clients.

As a consultant, you will be leveraging your commercial experience within Financial Services strategy projects to take responsibility for all areas of a short or long-term project. From client liaison and scoping project requirements, to arranging workshops and presentations to senior stakeholders, the role will also involve exposure to running part of the core business, be it marketing or internal recruitment. Business development is not a must, but is to be expected in someone who wishes to grow their personal client base. The actual position offered to the successful candidate will be tailored based on particular expertise, experience and interest in a certain area of the market.

– 3-6 years’ experience within strategy either in consulting or in house
– Strong academic background, with a minimum of a 2:1 in a mathematical or analytical discipline
– Self-sufficient and motivated worker who is committed to growing the business
– An ambition to join a boutique consultancy,
