The Role
As an analytics manager you will be responsible in the main for the success of the data journey. This is encompassed in a number of ways, included but not limited to; identifying areas of process improvement and innovation through analytics and technology, transforming industry trends into actionable insights which can be delivered to senior stakeholders, whilst also acting as a partner in various business departments to deliver value through Analytics.
With future growth predicted in the not too distance future the headcount in this function is likely to increase quickly, acting as a great platform for an experienced analyst looking to take that next step in their career.
The successful candidate is likely to have:
– Strong academic record, ideally in a STEM based degree
– Technical expertise within SQL; an additional programming language is preferable (R,Python,SAS)
– Effective stakeholder management abilities
– Demonstrable experience in user testing and project management
– A real interest in the retail sector, previous experience beneficial
