The Role
As an analytics manager within the analytics & optimisation function, you’ll lead a skilled team of (6) analysts committed to offering comprehensive data and analytics assistance to the business logistics division.
Your role will involve data analysis, tool development and delivering strategic decision-making across logistics stakeholders.
- Acting as the main interface for senior stakeholders, you’ll serve as a vital contact and an expert in your designated area, while your leadership ability will involve fostering the growth and proficiency
- You’ll play a pivotal role in guiding the prioritisation of their tasks and serve as a dependable mentor and point of escalation during challenging situations
- This position goes beyond team management; it’s about championing excellence in data-driven solutions and influencing the trajectory of logistics analytics
- Tools and tech used within the team are primarily SQL, BigQuery, Tableau and to a lesser extent, Python.
Your Experience
- Strong leadership capabilities as evidenced through previous line management experience
- Exceptional communicator, able to work efficiently and effectively with stakeholders across various functions
- A background in commercial data analytics, not necessarily in a logistics function or ecommerce business but where you have evidence of delivering value
- Technical proficiency in SQL as well as data visualisation and data automation tools
