The Role
Thanks to exponential growth across the business, a need has been created to support the wider insights and data science function. Having recently hired a Head of Data Science as well as a Head of Analytics, to support the Data Director, you can be sure this is a team that is going places.
Working closely with key stakeholders across the business you will be responsible for turning raw and semi-structured data into condensed actionable insights. As a snippet of what you can expect from this role:
- Building and transforming data models
- applying software engineering best practices
- supporting advanced predictive modelling
- a modern tech stack that includes Looker, dbt, Snowflake and Airflow
This being the first hire into this newly created team, there are a lot of significant progression opportunities as this team builds out.
If successful you will likely possess the following skills and experience:
- Excellent SQL skills
- Experience with data visualisation tools
- An ability to create analytics data models, preferably in a cloud data-warehouse
