The Role:
As an Analytics Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving innovation within their data infrastructure, transitioning towards a more scalable data stack. The core structure is nearing completion, utilising PostgreSQL data internally for seamless integration into Snowflake.
Your responsibilities will encompass data story development, transformation using dbt and SQL and uncovering key insights that shape business strategies. You will refine segmentation’s, conduct analytical deep dives, and collaborate closely with the Data Lead, offering valuable suggestions on leveraging data for business value.
- Contributing to the evolution of their data infrastructure to a scalable stack.
- Utilise PostgreSQL, CData, Snowflake, and dbt for effective data management and analysis.
- Drive strategic decision-making by providing insightful data-driven recommendations.
The Candidate
- A proven track record as an Analytics Engineer
- Strong background in SQL and dbt
Additional skills that would be of benefit include:
- Experience with Stripe data to build subscription dashboards (MRR, Churn (voluntary/involuntary)
- Music technology experience
- Experience of Lightdash
